I've been playing guitar for 8 years now, and I want to make a little extra cash giving lessons. I can pretty effectively teach metal, rock, blues and punk. Electric and/or acoustic. I can go to you, or you can come to me, however would work the best for you. $15/hour, can do appointments for one lesson a week or some such.
You know you people wanna learn to play guitar! 7/15/2007 9:45:34 PM |

I know basic stuff, chord construction, major/minor scales, arpeggios, keys, some diminished/augmented stuff
It's not my serious strong point, but I know a little about it 7/17/2007 11:11:03 PM |

if you want the best guitar lessons in greenville, go to watsonwood music and ask for steve watson. by far the best teacher in the upstate, if not all of south carolina.

hes a bit more expensive than $15/hour though...but he is well worth it.

when i worked there back in high school, i think we was charging something like $45-$60 an hour. and that was back in 98-99.
he has other instructors at his office that are cheaper...and they are usually good....steves pretty demanding with his employees. steve is the best of the best though. 7/19/2007 9:06:11 AM |

$15/hour is a steal if he is any kind of a good teacher... 7/19/2007 1:46:31 PM |

I have taught some of my friends with good success, I try to make it entertaining, not just "Play this scale and these two chords and know them solid by next lesson" 7/19/2007 8:49:51 PM |
