I think it depends on who you have. I had Cavanaugh this past spring and it was pretty cake. He printed off all the notes for the class in one big stack that he sold us for $5 instead of making us get a book and he was really laid back and tried to make class as fun as possible.
The material isn't too bad, it's just taking a very in-depth look at proteins, their interactions, and methods of studying them in a lab. I don't know how the other teacher is, though (Goshe, I think??). Overall, it is easier than 451 because you already have the foundational material that you need and it's not nearly as anal about "memorize this exactly or the whole thing's wrong" like 451. 7/18/2007 1:59:45 PM |

Rose is hard but very fair and will help you outside class. He's just hard because he's hard to understand. I took it last fall and started off bad but made an A...not as hard as 451 because there's not as much material, but you have to keep up and the concepts are more difficult. 7/19/2007 12:07:32 AM |
