http://www.tynker.net

Comment/suggestions/critiques welcome. I've only been able to test it on IE7, Firefox2, Opera 9.22 and Safari 1.3 for Windows.

So if anyone is running IE6 still, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 7+, or Safari/Firefox on the Mac please take a look and let me know if its all fucked up.

Also if anyone has an iPhone, let me know if it displays properly on there too.

you can use this to see what it loosk like on an iPhone - http://www.marketcircle.com/iphoney/
....only works on Mac though.
maybe you can use this to see. i'm not sure exactly how it works - http://davidcann.com/iphone/

Page looks fine overall on Camino

i've never been a big fan of LightBox because I feel like it takes me away from the context of the site, and of course, you can't link to a page with the picture on it. But even if you keep it, the little rotating/spinning load-bar thing is pixelated and non anti-aliased. looks bad

the "intra-section" navigation, over on the right side ("return to: design, homepage") is a bit small and easy to miss. Furthermore, even if you do see it, the links for the top of the section and the homepage are too small and close together.

The Interface Design C: shell is a nice idea, but the Commands at the bottom of the window are 1) distracting and 2) misleading. I was actually starting to type the commands to see if anything happened inside the command window. Furthermore, the font for the commands are bigger and brighter than the font for the actual links and is the first thing you notice on the page. Also, the arrows in the top left and right of the shell are misleading. I clicked on them, but of course, nothing happened. With that, I would just get rid of all the Command Shell fluff, and you would still get the point across that you are "inside" a shell. Maybe just replace it with a "C:\>" promt at the bottom or something, just to keep some authenticity

Very nice. Thank you for not using flash where clever scripting can do the job.

On IE5.5 on the initial load the menu (strategy/product/interface) covers up the border. Also when l load the product page the border is gone other than at the very top. Not sure if this is on purpose or not. If it's only IE5.5 not really a big deal as only like 2 people still use it.

Just the things I noticed casually browsing, hope it helps.

Looks good in FF1.5 on mac

Since I've been meaning to go ahead and update to 2.0, I'm doing that now Assume that unless I post otherwise, it's fine.

I am very happy to see that the back button still works. Also the guy in the suit that looks like he forgot to take his counter-strike mask off made me chuckle (voicevault).

Thanks guys, especially agentlion.

I figured the interface design page navigation was going to be risky.

It's actually Lynx, the defacto text web browser. I figured no one would have any clue what the hell it was, since only super die hard interface people ever use the thing anymore. Ill have to think about revamping that.

Also, I tried the iPhone emulators, but they dont do page scaling or rotation (does the iphone rotate the page to landscape view?)

As for IE 5.5, that blows, but no way im going back to supporting that turd

^Normally yeah, but I figured I would hit two different audiences, and get two different kinds of feedback (which I have so far). Sorry about that though, definite a faux pas
