Quote : | "The Cal basketball coaching staff may want to meet with their team to discuss the difference between a good idea and a bad idea because sophomores Patrick Christopher and Jerome Randle are clearly having trouble understanding the difference. Last weekend the two players managed to turn "having fun" into an arrest for attempted robbery.
It started with an ill-conceived plan to have fun scaring people. The players pulled up alongside two pedestrians, told them they had a gun, and demanded their money. The thing is, the players didn't actually have a gun -- the object they were pointing was just a silver-colored cell-phone. The players were eventually arrested, but since they didn't have a gun and the "having fun" excuse seemed genuine, the police decided not to file charges.
This seems like a wake up call for Cal that they need to do a better job entertaining their athletes -- maybe they could get the team Risk or something like that. The game of world conquest should be more fun than pretending to rob people. --Eric Horowitz" |

WTF...mugging people? The wildest thing is the cops let them go because it was just "having fun". Little did we know what passes for an acceptable pastime in Berkeley.
