I found a few text/pdf to voice programs online, but they all have harsh voices. Is there a free one out there with a natural sounding voice? I'm guessing not, but I wanted to ask here just for the heck of it.

The ones I found were at download.com. They work, I just can't stand to listen to them for any length of time.

i know it's kind of hidden in both the TITLE and the BODY...

but what part of the whole "freeware" concept do you not get?

I might just break down and buy one. Since I can't stream anything at work, I need some extra stimulation. I found a few trial versions from c/net that seemed promising, but I'm strapped for cash at the moment.

I'm still doubting it exists, but I'll send it to the top for the heck of it.

Thats pretty cool, but its not worth $300 per voice for the software.

Did you read the thread? Go troll in another thread.

Considering that none of the software I use for my job will ever be available on a mac, I think I'll stick with my PC's.
