say i have a domain that expires next month but i don't want to renew it. I could see myself using it later on down the road but for right now, im not interested in renewing it BUT interested in keeping it.

will the hosting company take it over and/or sell it?

If you let your domain expire, don't expect to get it back.

It'll get bought up by a squatter and be one of those "What you want, When you need it" stupid ass ad pages.
