I have Blazing Angels which I'd only rate as "ok" on a good day. The graphics are good but the gameplay isn't what I'm looking for.

The last fighter game I had that I really loved was Ace Combat 5. I see Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War on shelves for PS2 and I can't even find any in development for PS3 so here's my question.

I know I can play PS2 games on the PS3, but can I use the motion-control in it?

Along these lines, where might one go about finding a flight stick which is 100% compatible for the PS2? The NAMCO sticks are unbelievably expensive. I've been looking through eBay for a while now and haven't seen anything which looked promising.

Well there's Air Combat 6 for the 360? It comes out on Oct 26 I believe. The demo is fucking fun and grfx are insane.

I love the Ace Combat series, I can't wait to see the next generation version for PS3.

I've been waiting for the price of ACX: The Belkan War to come down, I played through AC5 about a year ago and I thought that game really rocked.

Oh, and leave it to Kainen to bring Xbox 360 shit into a thread clearly labeled for PS3

When I first picked up Ace Combat I thought it was BS b/c of the unrealistic weapons loads and shit but I quickly ceased to give a fuck about that just because it was so much fun. I just picked up The Belkan War, I'll let you know how it is.

you can get some good air combat going in that, but it's way arcadey - probably not your cup of tea if you want to go the Ace Combat route
