did you guys see this piece on SC? those kids are pretty cool. we never chattered like that when I was in little league. I think that would have made the game a lot more fun. Of course I was a catcher from little league through high school, so I probably could not have chattered much anyway.

We had Chatter in High school. We didn't say hey batter batter swing but we did say things like "We got 2 down" "We got one in the well". Mainly the outfielders talking to infielders talking about where we were going to throw the ball if it was hit. We considered that chatter.

they were yelling things like "hit it to me" over and over and "yeah". every player on the field. according to espn, some little leagues are making chatter against the rules.

we had chatter all 10 years or so i played. we didnt use fruity chants though. basically our chatter was, while standing in the field, we all made a ton of non-sense noise. mostly, "ehhehhehhehhehhehh"

no, not "hehehe", it was "eh" "eh" eh eh. but fast and loud. sort of like the sound you made as a kid to simulate a machine gun

I can't decide which is adding more to the pussification of America more. The gay ass chants the kids are doing in the dugout or the fact that parents are scared their kids are going to get their feelings hurt because some kid is yelling "easy out"...


I have no problem with chatter as long as it's not personal and not vulgar. If the kids wanna yell "Hey batter batter swing" and stuff like that, that's fine with me.
