ok, from the locked thread, obviously it is old news that Duke gets a vote n the coaches poll every year

but did anybody realize that State got a vote in the AP, cuz i didnt?

i wonder who that reporter was giving us love

or am i missing some common knowledge too?

Bingo^ There's no legal clause stopping me from telling everyone Goren was the guy, but I was trying to save him some harassment. Winston-Salem isn't a very State-friendly town.

Goren's a great sportscaster -- he knows the high school sports scene better than anyone. But when he told me he voted State in the top 25 ... well ... I called him an idiot.

But who knows. He did call Wake as ACC champions early last season. We'll see.

I went to the link posted above and THOUGHT I was looking at the guy's top 25. State was not listed in it. Am I missing something/
