Does anyone have a list of apartments/complexes near campus (meaning on the Wolfline) with furnished rooms?
I know of Wolf Village and Westgrove Tower, but that's about it...? 8/23/2007 3:07:38 AM |

Wolfcreek does, there not on the wolfline but they have their own private bus service to campus. I was paying 404 for rent and utils for a 4 bedroom place. It's an alright place to live while you are an undergrad.
Also you can get places close to campus like ivy commons for 300 a month (2 bedroom) and buy cheap furniture (via craigslist or here). The furniture at furnished places sucks balls.

i would only be living there 6 months probably, maybe a year, and I don't particularly want to deal with the hassle of furniture. so i don't really care about the crappiness of the furniture in furnished apartments. 8/23/2007 3:47:01 AM |

I hear you thats why I gave you an option. Also 6 months is much harder to get, and I wouldn't get wolf village unless you like overpaying for nothing (higer rent then nice aprts, terrible parking, rules/ra's, concrete cells, etc).

for what its worth, I had a friends just move into wolf creek, and the place was an absolute shithole when she moved in. the carpets had paint and bleach stains on them and was frayed and peeling up at the corner (I'm sure someone got charged for carpet replacement at some point and that didn't happen). The furniture had stains and the lamp had burn holes in the lamp shade. There was also dirt and shit in the garbage disposal and the fridge wasn't cleaned out.
I dont have anything against that place, it was just in complete shambles for a "new" apartment when she moved in, which doesnt tell me good things about how they treat their tenants. 8/23/2007 7:21:52 AM |

UHouse seems pretty full....especially on a damn weekend. People will be parked in the road and grass and everywhere. Not sure if they have any more rooms or not. 8/23/2007 8:24:54 PM |
