I saw Baker walking off the field in the 4th quarter into the locker rooms in the NEZ with ice on both of the knees... this is not what i was wanting to see

I know this isn't the worst position for NC State to have an injury like this but I feel terrible for Toney. No positives about it. I just hope he can make a full recovery and still get his shot. If anyone can do it its probably him but this is shitty news.

I guess no one else has the guts to state the obvious, but........this is good news for NC State's chances this season. Andre Brown was the superior running back to begin with, and should have been getting 80%+ of the carries. With Baker out that will happen, and the team is better for it. If only Evans would have gotten hurt and NC State pulled out a victory, then it would have been the perfect start to the season.

Well, this sucks. But if there was one position on our entire team where we could afford a season ending injury, it's probably running back. Just be thankful it wasn't a line backer, defensive back, or offensive lineman.
