FSU just got robbed even after instant replay. That should have been a textbook overturn.

well, the game should have been over even if it were overturned, because FSU got a major gift on the first play of that series. the clock didn't even start running until after the QB was sacked.

He goes out of bounds before the defender gets him and ESPN showed 2 seconds left.

even more proof then that instant replay is useless. both plays were reviewable, the clock didn't, the review of the "final" play clearly showed a catch, then a step out, then a fumble; it certainly didn't "confirm the call on the field"

so, because it didn't "work" this time, we should ignore the countless number of times that it has actually proved useful. genius, man... genius

Hell at least they took a look at it, unlike our game against Akron last year.

Dude NEVER made it in the endzone.

it should work very nearly 100% of the time, and it shouldn't miss a play that was this clear

do you have to make a "football move" in college?

do you have to maintain control of the ball when you go out of bounds?

because to me it looked like he caught it in the air, gravity worked its magic and he came down with one foot in and the other out, and then got hit and lost the ball without really making a "football move"

^thank you, if this is a rival team of ours, we want them to lose

the responses would be entirely different if this were unc instead of fsu

and when the instant replay works in favor of nc state, you love it. If it works against nc state it should go away? good one, instant replay is def. one of the better rule changes to happen to college football in a longggg time.

I'm not sure why they even reviewed it in the first place. It wouldn't have made a difference. To me, it was either an incomplete pass or a fumble. Either way, game over.

Um Textile Bowl? Clemson is more of a rival than FSU....just because they were a rival to Chuck doesn't mean it is a rivalry for good.

I think ^^ is talking about the clock being at :00.

However, I was at the game so I never saw a decent replay but how much time would have been left whether it was a catch, fumble, out of bounds, etc.

Wake appeared to get robbed on an interception Saturday (ball slipping through the BC corner Tribble's hands as he landed at the back of the end zone and popped out). Tribble's other 2 INTs were legit, though.

the way you people go, we might as well call every team in the acc a "rival" of ours.
