so i got everything downloaded from the cd-rom and i go to the media section and there's not a folder where i can upload music. any help from fellow blackberry-ers?

yep, you definitely need the media card.

This frustrated me for a while, too.

then I got a media card. and now that I have one, I lost the desire to put music on my pearl.

i'm going to get my media card at lunch. i dont need a lot of memory....just enough to throw on some songs so i have something to listen to while i work out.

did you have to buy different ear plugs? i know my ipod ear plugs didn't fit.
