Never in the history of sports has there been a single city to dominate the sports world like Boston will this year. Heavy favorites to win the championship trifecta in mlb, nba, nfl. I'm going to try to get back up there every weekend this year to witness history.



Celtics
With the addition of Kevin Garnett the boston celtics are ready to return to being, welll...the boston celtics. The all time sports franchise. He along with paul pierce possibly two of the top 5 players in the nba are now on the same team. the stars have aligned. Every tandem of this magnitude has resulted in a dynasty. kobeshaq jordan-pippen neither as versatile. you have 2 players that want to win more than anyone and can do pretty much anything they want. two players that have given their all pretty much all alone their entire lives are now united with a bunch of other talent and they are hungry.

Take a look at the lineupwhew)

rondo- a modern day (cousey) with "rajing" speed
ray allen- its JESUS. easily a top 10 sg (mchale) this role man would be the star of most nba teams
paul pierce-dominant. 4th best wing in the game (larry bird)
kg- best player in the world. sure kobes more skilled but nobody is as versatile and dominant as kg (bill russel)
perkins-anchor the d. role player (rob parrish)

This will be an easy road to the 17th championship but the question is where will this team stack up compared to the greatest teams of all time and how long can they keep together?



Patriots

What can I say? this is like if Bill gates won the 300 mill powerball. The best dynasty of our lifetime has just aquired the best wr of our lifetime. We all know what Tom Brady has done with horrible wrs...refused to lose. He took Branch, a typical average wr and made him a star. Sure manning is more talented but brady is the best playoff qb possibly ever. Now with moss the entire feild will open up and the pats will have an offense nearly as good as indy to go along with the best defense and the most willful staff/players. Just like the celtics, this is not fair and its no longer of question of if they will win the super bowl its how will they compare to the greatest teams of all time. Theres no way even the refs will deny them this season.



Red Sox

they hold the burden of being the worst big time team in boston this year. a measly 60% doesn't cut it in boston 07 despite being the best in baseball and 7 games ahead of arod and the highest salary team in sports history. only winning the world series will be ok this year since the future is prime as buccholtz and dice gyro man k (the best 2 rookie pitchers of all time) will join schilling wakefield and beckett as the best rotation possibly ever. dice k has a pitch nobody can hit and bucc has...well nobody can hit anything he pitches. Its not like they even need good pitching at all to win with the big guns everyone knows about. guys named papi and manny even lowell and others.

in review some of the top athletes in all of sports are all in boston. it boggles the mind. If you listed them you would probably have half of the top 4 seeds from who's now in boston. Who won that anyway?

This is why BC won't steal the hearts of the entire city on their back this year.

^^haha brady and moss on the same team is just not fair. if the nfl cares about the quality and competitive nature of their league they would split the patriots up right now because this is too easy and its only going to get worse when the two get chemistry. Crazy part is we barely need an offense at all to win so its like a fly with a sledge hammer. its to the point now where its not fun being a fan anymore because theres nothing to want this season. its like watching those nick jr cartoons as a kid where nothing bad happens.

also it seems like two new york teams sharing would be able to have a decent stadium but its by far the worst stadium i've ever been in for anything. couldn't see anything but i guess they're lucky because no fans are going to want to see their games against new england for a long time. ugly airport as well.
