I dont think there is any argument that LSU is by far the best in the SEC.

Well the ACC has always been a joke, besides FSU. Its not a football conference, its hilarious when people get mad when it sucks.

sec is easily the strongest conference

i used to think acc was weakest... but its without a DOUBT your big ELEVEN is the weakest, the big ten is getting weaker and weaker and WEAKER and WEAKER!

there is no speed up north, and that lack of speed in the big ten is just getting more and more lopsided...

michigan might have a chance to win the big ten still because even though their defense is sooooo slow, so are offenses in the big ten... but U of M won't have a chance against any other conference in a bowl game... I'm as big a fan as you will see, but this year, I'm as realistic as you'll see...

SEC or USC for national title

yes, but UGA is "supposed" to be one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the conference this year

and they lost

at home

to an unranked south carolina

i can not wait to go to work on monday and talk shit to all the uga fans who have cried for the last three weeks because Mandel said they weren't a national powerhouse

i saw the end of the game at the bowling alley. i promptly looked at my friend and noted, "i dont know why they keep bothering to rank UGA in the top 25."

[Edited on September 9, 2007 at 1:15 PM. Reason : and south carolina hasnt been that bad last year or this year]

one of my roommates is a UGA alumnus

so i rastered a cocks logo out to about 3' by 4' and taped it to the wall

my other roommate pulled the page out of the ajc and highlighted all the quotes by spurrier

its going to be great when he gets back

Funny thing about Georgia is, they showed a graphic yesterday saying that they had the SEC's best record since 2002 or something.

i dont see how there is even a debate as to which conference is the best in the nation...its the SEC hands down...the interesting arguments come when trying to rank 2nd best, 3rd best, etc...you have a conference like the Pac-10 who is looking good this year...the Big East doesnt come across as a powerhouse, but they are top heavy with some good teams...Georgia Tech is still the real deal in the ACC but our QB situations throughout the conference over the past few years have really hurt us

If you had to rank the conferences right now based on their performance through this season, the Big East is #1. USF beat Auburn at Auburn and Cincinnati beat down a supposedly decent Oregon State team. Plus the top heavy Big East teams are all still undefeated which obviously the SEC cannot claim.

I do believe the SEC will be the strongest by the end of the year, but the Big East is doing well so far this year. The ACC is a fucking joke led by teams like us, UVA, Duke, and UNC sucking worse than a Dyson. The Big Ten is weak this year as well.

How I think the conferences will rank at the end of the year:

1. SEC
2. PAC-10
3. Big East
4. Big 12
5. Big 11
6. WAC
7. MAC
8. Conference USA
9. App State
10. ACC
