Clemson fan/grad today told me he's fed up with their team and they WILL lose to NC State this weekend because thats what Bowden does. He says they suck and are wasting a bunch of talent (sounds familiar).

I think the idea was that he put up the bush chop and we won a game, so being superstitious he isn't going to change the format in any way.

Yes. The week of the 2005 Clemson game, The Technician ran an article on the rivalry (why it's called the Textile Bowl, series record, etc.) and the trophy. They showed a picture of Amato and some dude standing beside it after the last time we won it which was in 2003. For some reason there aren't many photos on the internet of it though. You can see it in EA Sports NCAA Football video game franchise though.

As somebody else stated, this should be a lot closer than most are expecting. I don't know how they're doing it, but our defense has looked fairly solid in the three games we've played (forgetting the shitfest of a first half against UCF). Keep 8 men in the box, play some cover three in the secondary (so we don't get beat deep) and make Clemson's QB beat us. I doubt he can.

If we can establish have any sort of a running game, and if we don't let Beck throw dumb shit in the red zone, I think we win ... State: 20 Clemson: 16

clemson is one of the most over-rated teams in the ACC.

McCuller is on the depth chart this week as a backup but i bet its one of those cases where he will be the starter come Saturday.
