I'm not looking for accuracy to original but personal flare
pop culcher will nominate dynamite hack and the gourds for their nwa and snoop dogg covers
I nominate NOFX for their cover of rancid's "Radio"
And
Rise Against's cover of "any way you want it" 9/26/2007 12:56:01 PM |

That Rise Against cover sucks. I hate it when I was listening to that CD and I forget about it after it goes off. Then like 5 minutes later I hear "ANY WAY YOU WANT IT THAT'S THE WAY YOU NEED IT ANY WAY YOU WANT IT." The rest of the CD is money though.
Stretch Armstrong's cover of Modern English's "I Melt With You" is very good. Thrice's cover of "Send Me an Angel" is badass and I'm not really a fan of them otherwise. I agree with JCASHFAN about Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" being amazing as well.

The only way I know to settle this is by looking to the soundtrack from Rad.

aren't there at least 3 covers of "Such Great Heights" in the last 4 years? I mean, by fairly major artists, ie, Ben Folds, Iron and Wine, and isn't there one more?
my contribution:
"The Chauffeur" by the Deftones
