4 hit game today... first since the 30s for a pitcher.


I think he had 3 doubles and a single... oh yeah, he pitched a great game too.

he was the first pitcher since Whitey Ford to have TWO 4-hit games. Also, Ford was born in 1928 so I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the 30's.

Didn't he have a four hit game against the Braves where he hit two bombs and pitched like a 3 hitter? Oeuvre: as a Braves fan, I'd expected you to remember that.

yeah, pretty sure he went 4-5 with 2 homers against the braves

which means he was the first pitcher to do it since august
