the roots are pretty damn awesome live. I wish when I saw them they did adrenaline and mellow my man :-\ I think they should do a colaboration show with pharoah monche. very few hip hop shows take advantage of the live venue (and band) like they do.

nah, I first met him inside the venue after the show. I came up to him, introduced myself.

Everyone else standing around him was calling him Black Thought. I just walked up, and said "Hey Tariq"

As soon as I said his real name, he looked at me.....like I was a bill collector

Then I said "That was a great show. I'm a big fan of yours. I'm not trying to ride on your dick or anything.....but yeah.....your music has really gotten me through some hard times"


Then he laughed, and we talked for a little bit
