Disqualifications and Techs hopefully count as positive stats, that's how we do it in one of my leagues, makes it a lot more fun. Rasheed is huge in that league. Also we count flagrants as positive.

But you're gonna get killed in assists, everything else looks solid but I'm sure the other teams are equally stacked.

nah DQs and Techs are negative (i think, just like turnovers)...last year we had DQs, Techs, Flagrants and Ejections but it was a roto league and it ended up severely fucking up the standings

this year its a head-to-head league

yeah Assists isn't one of my strong stats although Barbosa and Brad Miller could be sleepers...I like my rebounding chances with those bigs and think I'll get some pretty good 3-point production as well...Arenas at 13th was a steal

should i drop Ben Gordon for Bibby?

Bibby had his first game of the season and scored 19 points on 7/12 shooting with 4/7 from the arc, 6 rebounds, 0 assists, 4 turnovers

i know he's getting old (kind of...he's 29) but the last two seasons he was 49th and 27th overall in fantasy production

thoughts? i'm leaning on waiting one more game to see what Bibby and Gordon do respectively

i know the NBA in and out more than I know the NFL so i'm usually better at fantasy basketball but yeah I've had Bibby on my Watch List for about the last month...I have just been hearing trade rumors about him and wonder how effective he might be with another franchise...still Gordon doesn't really get you much more than points, 3's and FTs

so what should I do about Arenas and Dirk?

If I only had one of them I'd probably hold out another week or at least a few days to check specifics and hope my lineup worked out...but now the playoffs have started and I can't afford to have both of them sitting out and risk a loss here in the first round...I'm up 10-3 after the first day but my opponent has no injuries...for depth, I have Rasheed and Gerald who can play the PF, and I have Calderon, Barbosa and Bibby to play the PG...should I hold out on either one of them (I have a full roster tomorrow without playing Dirk or Arenas) or go ahead and pull some add-drop shit on both of them and maximize what stats I can?

So my team puts it together for the last five weeks and gets in 6th place and the final playoff spot with one week left (I went head-to-head with the guy in 6th and beat him 7-2). Then the last week Marion doesn't play, Bell gets injured, Bogut plays one game, etc. and I get fucking passed again.

my league is 8 teams and the top 6 make the playoffs...i'm the 4th seed...i wasn't ever really worried about not making the playoffs but i expected gilbert would be back by now...i could've had a 1st round bye by making the 2nd seed if i had dropped agent zero 3 months ago and found somebody else
