Ok if you dont know XL is open with some awsome turf, 1 of the fields is about 1/4 longer and 1/5 wider its huge, with glass boards, so y'all need to form some teams and come out and play next season starts november 1st, need to register within 2 weeks or it may get filled up
ive got 2 teams im forming, i may have space for a few players if interested otherwise form a team of your own and come out! 10/1/2007 6:48:29 PM |

yeah the guy who owns it now used to co-own it with the original owner, and now the place is backed by an executive from the premiership team middlesborough 10/1/2007 8:53:47 PM |

The management/refs still fucking suck ass though. They went through a few weeks where they hired a bunch of new refs but I guess none of them lasted. We've had a ref threaten to kill one of our players, saying it was "his field" and he owned the place after one of our guys didnt apologize to both the ref and some girl he had fouled (he apologized to the girl). And the management sucks ass - they threatened to charge us a 50$ late fee for this season because we hadnt paid till the third game despite the fact that they told us when our first two games were less then 24 hours before they started (they told us when our first game was 3 hours before it started). All the same I've played there for every season for like the last 4 years, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
And anyone in the coed gray/silver - I'm sure you've gotten your asses kicked by batman 10/1/2007 9:07:38 PM |

Don't get me wrong, i love the place, its just the management/refs suck, but its still fun as hell. And no you can't wear cleats, you have to wear indoor shoes. And if you sign up in full as a team it should only be 700$ for the season. And be assistant team manager? The place isnt really that serious that you need a manager. 10/1/2007 11:31:59 PM |

What type of competition is there on the A and B levels? I'm 25 and haven't played since high school. Since I'm not in the greatest of shape, I was thinking the B level, but I don't want the majority of people to have never played before. 10/29/2007 1:54:37 PM |

If you play co-ed there are several levels. I believe Co-ed black is at the top, and theres like 6 more below. The lowest level (co-ed gray or silver, i forget) is pretty competitive but still alot of fun. Some of the teams have been playing for a while but theres always usually a few players on each team who dont have much experience.
And they just raised their prices to 750$ a season, the third 50$ raise in 3 seasons. My teams not returning again, with the shitty service and the continual price hikes, its not worth it for a 7 game season. 10/29/2007 2:04:27 PM |
