Just wondering if anyone had anything to say about scarowinds?

In the past I have gone to snow camp, but its $20 now(for one run through), and was just wondering if scarowinds was any better( as far as amount to do, fun, etc).

Other suggestions for halloween attractions are welcome as well.

Cedar Fair is really into the Halloween events at their parks, so after buying Carowinds one of the first things they did was plan to beef up Scarowinds. The entire park is open this year (no areas roped up), they have more haunted houses than before, and tripled the number of actors in the park.

Haven't been myself, though. Last year I went to Busch Gardens instead, and I think I tend to prefer that one, although it was still disappointing. One thing to keep in mind is that Top Gun will more than likely be closed.

Well I just want to know for sure if tickets are buy one get one free this weekend...cause if they are then I'm gonna go.

I checked out the website and it didn't say one way or ther other, so could I see a link that says they are buy one get one free?

i went a few years ago. the haunted houses were really really boring. i guess thats because lots of kids go? and it was only open 5 hours when i went and it was so crowded that we did about 4 haunted houses and two roller coasters. i wouldn't go back to scarowinds...but i still love carowinds.

the haunted houses they had up at Busch Gardens were pretty bad ass actually

a lot better than any I've been to in Raleigh

but I'm willing to go hit up the ones around here just cause I like them
