i'm thinking about getting one since buy.com (who i've always had pretty good luck with, despite some people's complaints) has them for $243 - $10 google checkout discount = $233 with free shipping

worth it? any of you actually used it before?

i don't want or need the GSM phone aspect of it, though...save for the ability to make Skype calls on it, which the N800 does and the W580i doesn't (does it?)...besides, i don't think i can get a W580i anywhere near that cheap without a contract, right?

I have a Nokia 770 that I barely use. I guess the 800 has more features or whatever, but if I had to choose between spending $233 on an N800 or $300 on an ipod Touch, I'd easily go with the ipod touch.

OTHO, if I had to choose between the N800 or a $400 plus $80/month iphone, I'd go with the N800. But that's just my opinion.
