I do not understand this....So the other day I'm looking for paint on my computer....i dont see it...so i go to search and i search for "paint" and it does not come up....so finally to determine if i actually have it, i right click a picture and choose edit and it opens in paint.....i can not find it anywhere on my computer...i've looked through numerous folders and can not find it...any ideas?

If you go to Start and Run, does just typing mspaint work?

It might not have been installed somehow? Add/remove programs, windows components. Just add it back.

You may not have had "Search system folders" checked in the advanced tab of Search. So you would get no results then.

^I'm saying, when he searched for it, it didn't come up, because he may not have been actually searching the system folders, where mspaint.exe is located.
