facebook group is up to 1,499 confirmed. I've been to Franklin St. and ECU numerous times. They are both a lot of fun, and I would never hate on them because I've never had a bad time at either. The problem is just the hassle of getting there, having to stay with a huge group of people we know that either go to UNC or ECU, etc.

I was very skeptical about this at first, but I'm having high hopes right now that NCSU can finally compete and, if it is truly like the hike, be way better. ECU and UNC bars charge too much for cover, hikes are all about the bars, not just roaming the street.

I will say this, last year some friends and i decided to hit up H-borough for halloween, and we had a great time. way better than chapel hill. chapel hill sucks anyway, it takes for damn ever to get into any bars, (if you get in) and all you end up doing is walking up and down the street all night until your buzz wears off.

3) Creative costumes

1 and 2 show a strong, positive correlation.

Oddly enough, 1 and 2 also show a strong, negative correlation (which is why cops is the silent 4th key).

Stick with these 3 (+1) keys, and we'll be good to go.

We went last year on Hillsborough for Halloween and had a blast. We basically ended up at Pi Bar, but there was a great crowd with everyone in costumes. More fun than I had when I went to Franklin a few years ago.

Hillsborough St needs some love and screw Chapel Hill. The cops are a complete pain in the ass there, you have to wait forever to get a drink, and then there's the whole drive/park hassle. Keep Howloween local peoples.

I've had a lot of run in's w/ the po po over the years but i have never had an issue w/ chapel hill police during Halloween
