long shot, just copying the thread im making on AZ and mp3car. not enough cash flow to get this looking the way i want. Using my laptop did not live up to my expectations and when I decide to do the project again I'll mount an actual PC in the trunk.

In August I had a lot more financial flexibility than I do right now and it's time to start spending smarter. I bought this from AudiXS4X01 and it's in perfect working order.

His original thread is quoted for the details and pictures.

"I have for sale a 7" Xenarc Computer Touch Screen. I had a dash kit CUSTOM made for it and match painted to the interior. I can honestly say its a perfect/near perfect match and is flush with the dash! The dash kit is made for a B5, but can be re-molded to any other dash kit size (B6,B7) with some more bondo and paint. The LCD can go up to 1600x1200 resolution. It's the best, most expensive screen out there. YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING WITH IT, no limitations! You can plug S Video or VGA Out. It also has auto detects resolution. I originally bought this screen for $350.00 and I paid $300 for the custom mold. I also have a power supply that cost me about $120.00 that I'll throw in FOR FREE!!! I'm asking for $500.00 for everything (Screen w/ all necessary accessories, custom dash kit, and power supply) But Ill entertain offers, please dont lowball...

Grainy cellphone pictures before I hid the two wires. Click on his thread to see a full OEM style integration.

I ended up taking this and an APC inverter off of his hands for 300. I used the dash kit in my A6 but there is a slight height difference of around a half an inch that would need to be bondoed as you saw fit.

I also purchased a Car2PC kit from indashpc.org around the same time. Both sat in their boxes for at least a month until I got enough motivation and time to wire my laptop up.

I'm not sure how much everything should be discounted since, well I paid less than what the original owner wanted and it's only changed hands and used maybe 100 hours. Half of the time, since my laptop has no battery I don't even bother booting it.

Thanks for looking.
