Damon's has inexplicably closed temporarily, so I have nowhere to watch football on Sundays. I went to the Carolina Ale House last week, but only got to see my game on a small screen with no volume. I'm also a Raiders fan, so I need a place that has more than just the Panthers game every week.

but on a serious note, go to Fox & Hound at North Hills or out by The Loop in Cary, great specials on NFL sundays and tons of TVs

Woody's in Cary is by far the best place in Triangle to watch sports.

I never feel bad when I throw up from the overly potent liquor drinks they serve. It's just that kind of place.

^Yeah, Woody's is great.

In Winston-Salem, the new Wild Wings Cafe is the best place to go.

pretty chill spot, and the game was on a badass sammy plasma, plus cheap beer/good wings

just hope your team ain't playin on the wall o' bigscreens, because those look like absolute shit

Village Draft House? They have plenty o' TV's. I'd imagine they show more than the Panthers but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

I personally like Buffalo Wild Wings, but there aren't any in Raleigh.

we've gone to woodys every sunday this football season. woody's is also a good place thursday nights (live music, $5 pitchers budlight). saturdays are decent, but NFL sundays are a great time up there.

plan on headin back up there tonight for MNF since no exams until later in the week.

<3 Woody's...

Went there every NFL Sunday when I was living in Cary. $1.25 Miller Light pints and the Wings... If I move back to Raleigh, which is looking more likely, I'll be all over that place Sundays again.

Playmakers

8 HUGE projection screens (they don't have a tint to them.. the new owner has replaced a lot of the projectors) plus 30 smaller tvs scattered. new patio furniture and a projector screen plus huge flatscreen outside.

it's the only place I'd go to watch football.

it doesn't get as smokey as other bars because of the high ceilings. great wings & decent all-around menu. great selection of beer and drink specials.

you do want to get there early to get a decent seat or reserve a table. It's full by game time - at least fot the 1:00 games, sometimes it's easier to find a seat for the 4:00 games.

woodys got new ownership recently and opened up the "VIP Room" to the public. you can still rent it out of course ($10 an hour) but now you are allowed to hang out in there whenever you want unless someone rents it. they also changed some of the prices and added some nice ass leather couches upstairs.

falcons/saints is ugly, but MNF at woodys looks like the plan for tonight.

btw - if you are at woodys every sunday. my boys are the absolute drunks ranting and raving about the cowboys most of the time. i follow the panthers, but this season i've been keeping a close eye on the chargers (wonder why?) and the browns. the browns have some great fans and a very exciting team.

nothin really unless you rent it out and shut the door. no smoking in there either which kind of turns some people away from it (or turns people on to it).

also, if you get enough people in there to start with... nobody else really tries to take it over.
