Surely you can see the obvious differences between this and the McDonald's case:
- The shooting did not occur on NFL property. - The shooting did not occur at an NFL event. - Pacman Jones is (apparently) not the shooter. - Regardless of what Pacman Jones did/did not do, he was not acting in his capacity as an NFL athlete--he wasn't on the clock.
It's also worth noting that, just like the McDonald's case, this is a civil suit, not criminal charges. 10/19/2007 4:03:27 PM |
