It's the last season too, I hope they make it better than Season 6.

I'm curious if they're going to end the show with JD leaving the hospital or something like that.

I PREDICT:

Kim cheated on JD with Keith, and it's his baby. This allows JD and Elliot to break up and get together without being complete assholes.

That would make sense. I don't see any way that the series ends without J.D. and Elliot being together even though they are horrible together...

I don't get why they didn't leave Kim not having the baby.. it would have been easier tying stuff up...

I don't think that Keith would do that. I'm hoping the baby turns out black or something so it's obviously not JD's.

well according to the website on NBC.com, Bill Lawrence, the creator, still doesn't know how to end the series. He claims he's taking suggestions

I just hope it's nothing outlandish and they come up with a memorable ending. Don't just let it fizzle out like some shows have.

i swear to all things holy, this show is ruined if JD and Elliot hook up again. And it pains me to say that.

It's not that I want what I predicted to happen, but it seems like they (the writers) really want JD and Elliot to end up together, and Kim's baby not being JD's is the only way JD can get out of that relationship without becoming a horrible person.

Regardless, I think it will be a shitty season because they can't stay away from JD/Elliot.

I'm still kinda pissed this is the last season. That being said I have high hopes and I don't think JD and Elliot get back together.

I don't know... the end of Season 6 just set it up for them to get back together somehow to me and I'm sure a lot of people would like to see that happen (I'm not one of them).

I'm in the minority, but I kind of liked Season 6 (I haven't seen all of it yet -- missed a bunch the first half of the season -- but I'm getting the DVD when it comes out). I could do without some of the drama stuff but I thought it was still pretty funny by and large.

** Honestly, I don't really mind which direction they take the show... I watch it mainly for the cheap laughs..

i just hope they don't do another clip show like they did last season. those are always throw away episodes and i hate it when a show does that. why even make the episode at all?

I actually enjoyed the episode alot. Not so much the main JD and Elliot plotline, but the jokes/gage were funny, and it was cool to see them involving extremely minor characters they've only but mentioned in the other 6 seasons (Snoop-dog resident & Beard-face primarily). Plus the Lady and Janitor thing was amusing.

yeah, the side jokes/stories made it a good episode. The stuff they did with elliot seemed out of character.

It wasn't great... but I think they needed to get some things straight before getting into the funny stuff. I expect it to get funnier going forward... The Todd's shirt was pretty funny... as was the way Keith was just staring like he was going to kill something when she was trying to make him smile...

^^^ and yeah, pretty obvious to me. I hope I'm wrong but it just seems that is the way the writers want it to go.

I thought everything was good form as usual, except Elliot calling off the wedding. That turn seemed forced and not consistent with the context leading up to that point. In reality, someone like her would have the man calling off the wedding. She cracks me up, but she's unmarriable to anyone with less patience than God.

One of the things I like about this show is that it evolves - Carla and Turk got married; Carla/Turk, Dr. Cox, JD having children. Most comedies don't commit to that kind of change, so I thinks it's a testament to good writing that this show - with a few bumps - manages to stay consistently funny. So, with the wedding being called off in what I think was a forced way, I feel sort of let down from a creativity standpoint.

Shhhhhh! Dong Sleeping.

That was fucking great, lol.

I thought it was a pretty good epi, but I'm curious what's gonna happen with JD & Kim, b/c there's no way he's gonna stay with her.

^ that was also great when carla licked her lips and todd looked down and said "good morning." haha

i think kim may meet someone else and he will step in to help her take care of the kid, but JD still does the responsible thing and takes care of him in terms of child support

in watching some reruns in the past week i remembered a few things: when JD stole Elliot from Sean right before Turk's wedding, then realized he didnt really love her, he also said he was just going to pretend and, and stay with her forever, that obviously did not last long. also they could bring back Pvt. Dancer from last season, elliot told him she'd be into him if she was ever single again

Meh, things are just going downhill. A lot of the jokes are funny but the cohesion of the plots/characters isn't working as well. We are only two episodes into this season and they have already torn down everything that they set up in the previous season, and they did it abruptly.

And is anyone else sick of the blatent ad placements in these last two seasons? Yay, you got a Starbucks in the hospital. Yay, you got bits o' honey all stuck in your teeth. No, you wouldn't make a great spokes person for Travelocity. And now Halo 3? I get enough of that through regular commercials and people who *think* they know video games without having to suffer through it through the shows that I watch.
