Anyone catch last weeks episode? I think the writers just threw together whatever they could after coming back from the strike to get an episode out. It was probably the worst episode of HIMYM to date. Britney Spears is gonna be guest starring on this weeks. And believe it or not, she actually looks hot.

I'm hoping Brittney doesn't ruin it. I don't want a bunch of cameo appearances just for the sake of helping the shows ratings or whatever.

Last week was a tease though, thinking you'd at least see the potential wifey, but instead he just finds the umbrella.

i think they have to meet soon. each time they show her they use her umbrella to denote that its her amongst all these other people. now they won't have that as a tool to use any more. so hopefully they'll meet. i think next season will be its last season.

Yeah. I love the show, but I don't want them to draw it out for the sake of drawing it out.

I'm guessing he meets her and has to go through a similar senario like with Robin (Fight for her, then gets her, then gets married) and then it will end.

i could see a possible 2-3 more seasons though. depends on ratings and stuff i think. i don't know that they would just automatically plan to wrap it up after another season or so if they think they could get more out of it.

I thought Chalke was only supposed to be a single episode appearance but she made mention of the St. Patty's day party that the future "Mother" was at and the relationship sincerity certainly didn't seem one and done.

^Did she specify that party though? Or just a St Patricks party? My guess is its just there to throw you off, but who knows. Maybe its one episode THIS season...Ted basically said "holla at me if you get a chance," not "See you next Monday."

Sarah Chalke was definitely the highlight of this episode...freaking sad that they promoted this as the Britney episode instead.
