yes.. she should be. In the real world your performance is compared to others to evaluate your value to the company, firm, etc... The University is to incorporate this sense at some level since the whole reason of going to a university is to raise your worth in the corporate world.

Odd how you question her ability to be objective yet cannot possibly see how your subjectivity could be equally faulty. Regardless, maybe they revised their papers to the point that they were better than yours, or maybe there were simply other kids in the class who did better than you.

Also what NCSUPAGE suggested. That's frequently why I get Bs on papers: my teachers know I can do better.

Lastly, if I failed as many courses as you have, I'd just take the 88 and run with it.
