So I've noticed that some guys at work in their mid to late thirties have grey hairs. I thought that would start happening until about ten years later than that. Kind of depressing to think in 8 years I could have some grey ones sprouting up. Anyone getting grey hairs yet or noticed this in older relatives?

I've got a few. My dad started graying at 18 though, so I feel like I've had some extra years. The don't really bother me, and I'm probably just going to let going gray happen naturally.

I started graying a tiny bit in college, now its pretty noticeable to me at my temples when my hair grows out. My mom's hair is completely silver (which looks pretty good actually) and I know my dad's hair started graying a bunch in his thirties, so I've got that to look forward to.

good news is balding doesn't run in the family.

I noticed my first couple of gray hairs freshman year of college, and by the time I graduated they were becoming commonplace. At this point I'm 27 and well on my way to having the "salt and pepper" look because the gray has attacked with a vengeance. I'll be lucky if I'm not completely gray by the time I'm 35.

It used to bother me, but it really doesn't anymore. A lot of friends/acquaintances have suggested I go with Just For Men or one of the other gray-concealing hair colors, but it's not worth the effort. I think if anything my face leans toward the young, so I don't think anyone is going to mistake me for a 40-year-old just because I'm going gray. At least I'm not going bald...

My husband is only 25 and he has a nice crop of gray hair on the top of his head. I noticed the first ones coming in back before he turned 21. He doesn't really care about it at all and neither do I. Although, I must admit that where it's starting to thin out a bit scares me because it makes ME feel old that HE's losing his hair.

Again, if you will check your Webster's American Dictionary: College Edition, you will see that "blond" is generally used adjectivally--as I used it in the post at issue--and "blonde" is generally used as a noun. ("A woman or a girl having this coloration.")

One of the few benefits of going gray is that I never get carded. My girlfriend always gives me a hard time about it because she (only one year younger than me) always gets carded whenever we go out...
