I'm looking for a game to play with my wife either on our Wii or PS2. She is not a real competitive person and doesn't much like shooters, but she wants to play together. We have alot of puzzle games, so she wants something different. The only game I could find with significant multiplayer coop play is PS2: Baldur's Gate. Is there something that I am missing or is multiplayer coop pretty much restricted to the world of the PC?

Thanks for all the replies!

I am looking forward to Mario Kart Wii - I think I have read its coming out about the same time as SSB - so I think I am going to have a big drain on my wallet then.

I have also heard that Wii Mario Party sucks, but I am willing to listen to whomever has it to know for sure.

^ those are kinda competitive in that you can't play together, you play against each other

I was always a fan of the walkthru type game where you have two players. Like Double dragon, TMNT and the like. Might want to go rent a game at Blockbuster first to see if you like it and hell, you might beat it before the week is over.

I believe the next Resident Evil will have a form of coop.(First person shoot em up) I bought the last RE for the wii and never thought my wife would play, but she actually finished it and can't wait for the new one to come out.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance and both X-men legends games are great co-op games on ps2.

The console Baldur's Gate games suck. Don't waste your money...

The PC ones, however, are just about the greatest RPGs ever created. There isn't really much in the way of multiplayer, since it's an RPG, but it's still an excellent game.

Anyway, just get Mario Kart or something... have they made a Wii Mario Kart yet? Eh, hell, just download the old MK.
