what i think is the wind has been unusually loud where i live tonight. weather.com says winds are 10 mph, gusts up to 17 mph. is that a lot? it's even freaking out my dog

The Diamond Shoals buoy is reading 36.9 kts with gusts up to 46.6 kts

oh i didnt know kts was knots...i knew knots were faster than mph by about 1.12 or some shit

normally at night its not windy. so when its really quiet and the middle of the night and windy. you'll hear it.
