That iPod ad was created by an apple fan and released on YouTube. Apple's Ad Agency saw it and redid it without the glitches, and used it as an actual ad.

It's possible the guy got the idea from the Zune (that Zune video isn't loading), but Chiat/Day didn't go around trolling Zune ads.
