I wonder how a school cafeteria themed restaurant would do. Sloppy joes, square pizza, shitty canned fruit drinks, etc all served on a styrofoam tray.

Obviously it would all be value priced.

You can buy Manwhich sloppy joe filling already prepared with the ground beef and everything. All you have to do is pop it in the microwave and fill a bun with it, if you're too lazy to actually cook the beef and add the sauce.

My sloppy joe was YUMMERS!

I saw it today at the Harris Teeter like down from the sandwich meat with some of the precooked stuff like Lloyd's shredded pork and stuff. I had no idea that you could buy it pre-made like that until I spotted it today.

So is it in the refrigerated section?

Yeah, it's refrigerated in a tub near the sandwich meat with other precooked stuff like shredded pork or the Country Crock mashed potatoes. It may be down in the cooler like they usually keep the hot dogs. But the label on the tub is just like the label on the Manwich can.

Enjoy. I hope you can find it out in your direction. I found it out here in Garner, but I imagine you can find it pretty much anywhere.

Ok, so this thread made me go to the grocery store last night and by manwich mix and buns, and tator tots. Let's just say that the meal we had last night could have cost $40 in a restaurant and i would have paid.

By the way, i tried the new (to me) manwich BOLD, which was amazing. I used under a pound of beef and made only two sloppy joes that were insanely overflowing, forks were needed. I also toasted the large sesame seed buns and topped it off with melted cheddar, added a side of extra crispy tator tots with cajun seasoning. that's what your head does when you look at the plate

I love it so much that I'm tempted to just leave it in the bucket, heat it up, and make sweet sweet love to it.

New challenge:

Where can I get a good chocolate malt shake in Raleigh? Right now I think my only option is the Steak & Shake on Capital.
