Quote : | "Rosie O'Donnell, who abruptly left 'The View' on ABC last spring after drawing attention and ratings for her opinions on everything from the Iraq war to her co-hosts, is in serious discussions to return to television atop a new soapbox: a prime-time show on the cable news channel MSNBC, according to executives on both sides of the negotiations who have been briefed directly.
Under one scenario, Ms. O'Donnell would be given the 9 p.m. slot each weeknight on MSNBC, where she would go head-to-head with two heavyweights of cable talk: 'Larry King Live' on CNN and 'Hannity & Colmes' on Fox News. Her show would replace 'Live with Dan Abrams,' a relatively low-rated program that only recently replaced 'Scarborough Country,' which was also little-watched." |

Two things: (1) The fact that a news organization would even consider hiring a left-wing moonbat such as Baghdad Rosie proves to me that they are biased, to say the least. And (2) many of you were wrong when you claimed that she's not taken seriously by many across America and in the media
If MSNBC actually goes through with this, I'll be shocked. And it'll likely be the final nail in this network's coffin.

They're saying she blew the deal because she blabbed about it too early. This, from her blog:

well what can u do

It actually was what we were discussing.
He was accusing MSNBC of having bias for having a prime time liberal pundit.
I was pointing out that for this to be true, the opposite would also be true. Of course he won't concede this, and his whole premise will be flawed.

When a conservative accuses a network of having a liberal bias for hiring a liberal primetime pundit, why on earth would anyone even mention FOX? how completely off topic! You couldn't get more off topic if you tried!

To those that believe a particular storm, flood, landslide or drought is tied to global warming then resulting deaths certainly are attributable. And to some the severity of a problem isn't just measured by the loss of human lives. 11/8/2007 11:31:30 AM |

^^i like how you're trying to insinuate that all along you've thought terrorism was a bigger threat...as if nobody remembers you and your lame "you have a higher probability chance of getting struck by lightning than dying in a terrorist attack" or "actually plenty of people have died from global warming...katrina, the tsunami, heat waves"...now you're pulling a complete 180 and trying to imply you've thought terrorism was a bigger threat all along? you're not fooling anyone 11/8/2007 11:32:50 AM |
Boone All American 5237 Posts user info edit post |
Actually, here it is:
/message_topic.aspx?topic=438755&page=35
-talked a lot about the feasibility of anti-climate change measures. -talked about the politics behind climate change and how it was supposedly similar to the politics of 9/11 -then you chimed in with "I remember when climate change killed 3,000+ American citizens..." as if any of us had been comparing the threat.
It's really ok, though. Everyone here already knows that you post irrelevant crap.
