Looking for someone to deliver me breakfast every morning Monday-Friday. It would need to be at 8am or at 10am. IHOP has "IHOP n GO" or something like that. I've never tried it but apparently you just call and then pick it up.
Will pay $25 per week (or basically $5 per delivery since there are short weeks like thanksgiving, etc).
Need someone who is very reliable. It will be delivered on campus and there is no worry about parking b/c you can drive right up to the door. You won't even have to get out of your car if you don't want to.
Hoping to start this Monday so just send me a message if interested. 11/8/2007 10:21:51 AM |

there is healthy stuff at ihop, i just went the other morning and there was a whole menu page dedicated to healthy breakfast choices there 11/8/2007 10:32:19 AM |

It is cheaper and possibly healthier, but its just so hard to keep up with meals.
Overall, was hoping to find someone that wouldn't be really going out of there way, as in was going to be driving to campus anyway, and could make a little bit of money doing it.
Could be something where someone wants to start eating a good breakfast every morning themselves and they just run to get mine and theirs at the same time and they eat for free (or very cheap).
Not a big deal, just wanted to see if anyone is interested. Could be something where someone brings me breakfast and I bring them lunch or dinner.
I just have zero time in the morning. 11/8/2007 10:56:25 AM |

No offense, but I'm not really looking for ideas or discussion. Just looking to see if someone wants to deliver me IHOP breakfast Mon-Fri and I can pay them at least $5 per delivery and would also be open to trade this favor for another favor. Its pretty simple. 11/8/2007 11:06:48 AM |

One last thought....I thought about raleightakeout.com but they don't open until 11am and I don't think IHOP is on their list anyway. Never tried them...
If someone did a little leg work, you could probably find 10 people that wanted breakfast delivered and make $250 a week. All for about an hour or so a day. 11/8/2007 11:18:56 AM |

I was about to say...it's hard to ask someone to drive from their house, deal with that* ihop, and then deal with campus, then go back home every day for $5. that hardly covers gas, let alone labor. it wouldn't be worth it unless you paid them $5 & bought them breakfast as well, and they lived close by.11/8/2007 11:24:56 AM |

Well I guess its never "one last thing"....
Biggest thing for me is that I have to be at work at 8am. Traffic is tough and finding a parking spot is almost impossible. So it would be so great to pay a little bit and have a good healthy breakfast every morning.
I even submitted an idea to some campus food committee that the dining hall should look into either delivering or maybe having something where you can pick up. 11/8/2007 11:27:54 AM |
XSMP All American 16674 Posts user info edit post |
maybe you should just wake your ass up earlier, and get breakfast on the way in to work like the rest of us you lazy bastard. 11/8/2007 11:33:01 AM |
varsityblues All American 919 Posts user info edit post |
XSMP, yeah I know what you mean. Although if its someone on campus or anywhere near, thats about 20 miles per week so even with gas as high as it is, its not that much.
But when I posted it, I know its something most people wouldn't even consider.
It would have to be a situation where it was on their way or they wanted to get breakfast anyway, etc. Or, like I say, they could buy me breakfast and deliver it, in exchange I could buy them lunch/dinner and deliver it to them.
You are right though in that its not something I want to pay $10 just to have food delivered and someone isn't going to jump at the chance to make $5 to go pick up food and deliver it. 11/8/2007 11:33:53 AM |
XSMP All American 16674 Posts user info edit post |
instead of wasting all this time contemplating mileage, etc. why not just set your alarm clock earlier and bite the bullet? you don't have to in to work until 8am for God's sake.

I'm not looking for a FAVOR.
I'm trying to HIRE someone. If someone was interested but wanted more money, then thats called negotiation.
Why are so many of you "filling out the application" when you don't want the job.
You should go to food lion today and get an application. Then tell them that they should quit complaining about not having cashiers and baggers and stockers b/c thats just stupid.

you need to pay far more than $5/delivery to 'hire' someone unless slave labor is your thing.
