Well then, we have never been to a casino before and were just looking to have a little fun and the hotel looks quite nice. Based on those views has anyone stayed here?

^Yes I have been and stayed at the hotel. It is nice. The casino is fun for your first casino. Just know there are much better ones out there (Tunica, Biloxi, Vegas).
They have tons of slots and as someone said earlier, no tables except for the electronic card games. They are fun though. I was a few hundred bucks in the plus on a 3-card electronic table and cashed out.

if you're going to asheville, just stay there and maybe ride over to cherokee for the day or something. i don't think it's worth staying in cherokee any longer than that, but some people do. if you want to get a decent casino experience without spending the money/time it takes to go to vegas, go to atlantic city.

I'm part cherokee tho, we may just stay in Asheville and go out from there, theres just not that much to do in Asheville.

it's depressing too. the place is full of people that are obviously just blowing their paycheck, welfare, or whatever every week.

the casino is like walmart with slot machines.

fishing is usually pretty good in cherokee tho, but it's cheapened by the fact that they stock like 1,000 fish a day.
