Second time this week car is having issues.

The heater in my gmc 1995 yukon dosn't turn on when all the knobs are turned on normal until driving for about 15 20 minutes? Is there some type of thermostat or something hooked up that is gone bad or ever heard of anything like this? Sound like the unit is located under my glove box.

Thanks

probably either a bad motor, or resistor pack, does it run on high?

after a while it runs on all levels it seems like.......i will have to double check to make sure......but i can hear a click noise when i am moving the nob from low to high under the glove box but figure that was just a switch of some sort....some stuff i saw online said blower resistor...is that an easy cheap thing to fix to see if that is the issue?

if it runs on all speeds, its probably just a worn out fan or something jammed in the heater box like leaves and dirt, its not hard at all to pull it out and check it
