Random thought today: TWW could be a great alibi if I were ever wrongly convicted of a crime... On Law and Order, there's always that person that was home alone, and had no one to vouch for him/her. I would just say, "check my post times."

wireless would make it better* but still no - at least on my router, it doles out IP addresses by
MAC ADDRESS, which is the equivalent of a snowflake, in terms of uniqueness. cops would still be able to tell it wasn't your normal posting machine.


just give your normal laptop to a buddy, have him sit in his car outside your house and post, so there is no temptation for theft.

or you could just spend a few days making a random post script...preferably one that self-deletes after running...

how would you anticipate which threads would be available? For it to be legit, you'd have to have your posts make sense.

^^^ who cares what the internal IP on your network is. Sites only log the IP assigned to the modem which accessed the site.

I say that because - and you can try this - say you have two computers on your router, then it goes to your cable modem, then to the wall. one computer tries to login unsuccessfully until you get locked out ( on tww ). you can no longer login at all under any account from that computer...go to the other computer, you can still login fine. that leads me to conclude that internal IP address
is a relavant concern if the police are snooping your traffic.

threads have thread #'s...simply anticipate by having your script post in future unmade thread #'s.
cover a spectrum, and have time delays...have it work with another script that surfs the internet in another window, perhaps.

for the making sense part, just post minimal stuff like 'lol, haha, hehehe, ftw, ftl, ibtl, ntlb, etc.' and have those responses dictated by the innate variables that all threads have - post count, view count, age, etc.

it would help if you changed your posting habits to these before hand, so you ahve an established history of similar posting habits.
people that bicker in the soap box all the time, with multiple edits, smileys, etc. are not going to be able to pull this off

don't think/guess, try it - i had to change my router to issue IP's in a different spectrum so as to change my internal IP to a different value on this machine in order to re log in - it is looking for multiple IP qualifiers.

example:

it was issuing 192.168.0.100 - 192.168.0.999
i reset to start at 192.168.0.105 and continue as normal, so my old internal IP of 192.168.0.103 would no longer be possible to receive from the router, thus bypassing the lockout.

ip addresses can be easily spoofed

mac addressses can be easily spoofed

traceroutes can be manipulated

email headers can be falsified in seconds

none of this means shit as far as proving anything, unless you have photographs of the incident and the accused doing it from their computer with a clock beside them

even then, its photoshopped.
