that makes no sense, being a level 50 vs. level 2 doesn't do anything for you in halo except bragging rights as opposed to cod4 where if you're a 50 that means you're actually pretty good and you get stuff unlocked

^^ If you are a 43 in Halo you are pretty good, you dont unlock anything that gives you extra powers or anything but in my opinion you shouldnt be given stuff for being better..... that just makes it easier for you win against opponents who havent gotten that high up yet.... I mean if your better you should be able to win with the exact same equipment etc.

^ No way, its sweet to unlock stuff and actually feel like you've earned the stuff you have. Its just a matter of balancing skill required to level and the power of items against the time it takes you to earn certain items.

^ You can unlock stuff in halo also, but this way if someone just started as a level 0 and you are a level 40 they can beat you if they truly are better because u both are on a level playing field... kinda helps keep everything in check to allow the ranks to be more accurate I think.
