Hey guys- know of any reasonable traffic lawyers? I got a ticket from Wake Forest PD. I was coming into a dealership, on US1A-made a left(theres a median there) and got a citation for driving in the wrong lane. WF Police was hidden behind a parked truck for sale at the dealership. The Wake Forest Police love to pull you for any and everything they can get. Do they even have police officers or are they just traffic enforcers? Anyway-Also got written up for not signing my registration. Well- anyone know if I should go to traffic school, get a lawyer, or just pay the dang thing...First ticket, so I need some advice...Thanks!

yeah, I know-dumb move- It was one of those I've seen it done a million times-I know I shouldn't do that-but- it's just the perfect opening kind of deals-Live and learn, I guess. Police was in that perfect spot waiting behind the truck.

oh thats a nasty ticket too...pretty sure it has the same # of points as a reckless driving.

1) find a good lawyer
2) give him a few hundred $
3) hope for the best

You can get written up for not signing your registration?? WTF. I've never signed my registration and only ever had one cop even mention it, much less write me a ticket for it. Wake Forest cops must be really bored.

WFPD sucks even more than RPD. my buddy got the same ticket for not signing his registration, but the DA looked at it and said WTF? and tossed it out.

no- on the main US1A highway. I spoke with a Raleigh cop today and he told me that I should ask for a prayer for judgment- sounds good, as long as you don't get a ticket in 3 years. If you do-then it's trouble and lots of cash.

I got pulled for speeding on duraleigh a few months back.. fucker cited me for not signing registration too. I signed it in front of him and he still ticketed me. I hope that fucker burns in hell.

Also, your signature has to be in black or blue ink. If not, you'll still get written up for not signing it. Of course, the cop has to be a real dick to enforce this.

ok...so obviously a ticket for not signing the registration is a bunch of shit...but is there a good reason for not signing it? Or is it just that people tend to forget to do it when it comes in the mail?

got a ticket once for no doors on the jeep(not enough mirrors) and gave the cop the registration. he said it was expired so i said i probably forgot to throw it away and the new one is in my glove box. i get the new one from the glove box and turn to give it to him and he has already gone back to his car writing me a ticket for no mirrors and expired registration.

Did you get a lawyer- or did you ask for pyj? The ticket says it's $170- would you have to pay that w/ a pyj? Dang- I know now that i'm not the only one getting busted w/ ridiculous tickets.

I just paid it and took the points. I had flipped my car several times and ended up in a swamp. After they cut me out of the car and shit the cop said he had to give me a ticket...I didn't feel like fighting it.
