I'm having some trouble with the headphone jack on my laptop. I have 2 desktop speakers plugged into the jack, the left one plays all the time, but the right only plays if I twist the plug around and get it in just the right place (tried another set of speakers, same deal). What's up?

Most likely if you've used the headphone jack a lot, you've managed to wear the solder joint into breaking. If you find someone with a soldering iron that can open your laptop up and get to the connector, they can probably heat it up and maybe add some extra solder to the joint to reinforce it.
