worth the money, or not? i was thinking about getting a new one, the mouse i have sworn by for over 5 years (m$ intellimouse optical) could use an upgrade. any thoughts? if suggesting a mouse try one thats symmetrical - not a fan of the overly ergonomic ones.

not witty.

get the logitech VX revolution or MX revolution. Seriously the best two mice I have EVER laid my hand upon. And I spent a long damn time in the microsoft company store comparing the dozens of models they have, none came close to the VX or MX.

MX revolution is great. I left mine somewhere at home during thanksgiving break and lost my G7 batteries so ironically have to use my old razer pro. i hate it.

I haven't seen the Lachesis, but I use a Razer DeathAdder right now and like it. I've also had an MX Revolution, and they're money too.

Keep your eye on http://www.bensbargains.net for specials. I got my MX revolution for about $37, and it's just so ridiculously slick.

With the quick press of a button you can make the scroll wheel go from smooth, inertial scrolling to the old fashioned style where it does the clickyclickyclicky thing while you scroll. The thumb rocker switch and button is handy for moving through your music while doing anything without going back to your music program of choice and getting off task. Plus it just looks wicked sweet because you have TWO wheelie things instead of one.

Yeah.

Anyone that has a logitech mouse, especially anyone that has an MX Revolution mouse should get uberOptions. It's way more robust than the default Logitech software. I especially like that it allows you to configure the side wheel on the MX Revolution.

YES. I bought a copperhead. at first the high DPI was difficult... but once you get used to it, your accuracy at clicking icons and stuff really stays the same (fitt's law). and since it's high DPI, you aren't moving your wrist, you're really just moving your fingers. When my carpal tunnel acts up, I really appreciate that I don't have to move as much. I loved it so much, I bought a second and use it at work. All of the Razer mice have the same shaped feet... I recently bought some Everglide Mouseglidez Mouse Feet, shaped for Razer mice. If you want a set, you can have one.

I also have a Razer Tarantula keyboard -- The Anti-Ghosting feature is amazing... I can be pressing up to 6 keys at the same instant. On some keyboards, ghosting gets pretty bad... If I want to go forward and strife left at the same time, I can't jump.
