I have a Washer and Dyer in my basement which I need to get rid of. The dryer is not working and old so I'm not going to be able to sell it. I posted an ad on craigslist offering it up for free. Maybe someone will bite but I doubt.

I also have a fairly new washer which does not work. I suspect that it can be repaired but I do not have the money to have it looked at right now, nor the tools to look at it myself (the basket does not spin but it works fine otherwise). I'd like to hang on to it until I can get around to fixing it (if it were working it would be a much better washer than what I have now).

So I definitely want to have the dryer moved. Is there a dump around Raleigh I can take it to or a junk yard or something like that?

not sure if this applies to you, but when i worked at Lowe's in heavy appliance delivery we would take the old appliances with us when we installed the new ones and throw them out at Lowe's

^^ I appreciate the link, it was helpful. But the douchebaggery wasn't really necessary. I searched google for "Raleigh appliance removal" and didn't get anything good so I asked here and then continued to search. Who woulda thunk someone would use a message board, which has users who either live in the area or have lived in the area, to gain information regarding the local area? What an absurd thing to do.

^ it doesn't, but thanks for trying to help.
