so i need this: (according to lenovo website) PC2700 DDR SDRAM, 200 pin non-parity SoDIMM 333Mhz 2GB
for my R51.
would this do any good?

no it won't physically fit in the slot, and if it did, it would kill your computer.
you're gonna have to pay more to get older ram
search for: PC2700 SODIMM

safest is to buy straight from lenovo or straight from crucial or someone with a memory configurator. Usually places like that will take it back if you get the wrong size/speed - places like ebay you're screwed. 12/4/2007 9:12:32 AM |

buy.com has the one for my laptop.
but its $105. ($95 with google checkout).
id rather spend another $200 or so on top of that and get a used dell from here.
its a good laptop (does everything i need to be done) . plus its like 5 years old.
