I'm trying to help a buddy out. He has a 73 duster he wants to convert to disk brakes up front. His question is will a 77 Aspen spindle fit on the duster? Also what are the body codes for the duster and aspen.
I'm not familar w/ mopar stuff and have not even seen the cars. Also do ya'll know any decent mopar forums? 12/6/2007 10:49:02 PM |

you sure it's a 73? it should be disc brake stock if so. any 70-76 A body parts will work. dart, valient, etc.
you might be able to use the brake parts from the aspen, but the spindle won't swap.

I know that everything from a 77 Aspen will fit on a B-Body (Charger, Road Runner, etc.), even the spindle. But what BigBlueRam said is right -- it should be stock disc brakes already. 12/7/2007 4:56:27 PM |

i really miss my C body. i want another one, in convertible form. on 22's.
i'd love an E body too, but i just can't bring myself to pay the premium ones in good condition are bringing and i don't need another project.

I've got two -- a 1970 Charger and a 1977 New Yorker. The New Yorker is donating its 440 and 727 to the Charger. If anybody needs any New Yorker parts, let me know.
What do you guys have in your Dusters? 12/9/2007 12:16:31 AM |
