how do i find out the final dates for classes, being a freshie, i have no idea and i only go to class on test days so .......i am not too involved in school,

Yeah, never going to class your first semester is a sure fire way to succeed in college AND life.

That said, keep in mind that many professors do not follow the syllabus to a tee, and many will not email of a test change, assignment, etc.

I hardly ever went to class my first semester, probably less than 40 percent of total classes

Hell, I don't remember anything from any of the sociology classes I took (other than that they were utter bullshit and the only reason I kept taking them was because of the quality scenery) and I still aced them.

You have to be a complete shitfucker to miss a final because you didn't know about it. I did skip one because there was no point once though.

I missed an exam once because I had written it down for the wrong day. I begged and pleaded and convinced my professor to let me take a make-up. I squeaked by in that class with a D, but at least I didn't have to take the class again.

I remember back in high school, there were no extensions, etc... and the teachers all made out like college was sink or swim and probably sink. College is much more flexible.

yeah....taking 2 years to get 30 credit hours doesn't really make your parents really happy. That's why I'm paying for community college this year. They agreed to pay for 4 years of college, and only pay for more if circumstances beyond my control force me to be in longer. However, circumstances within my full control is making be in school at least a year longer, therefore I'm paying for a year of community college and then my parents will pay to send me back to state.
