I do that repair for a flat fee of $50 on most laptops, with a 24 hour turnaround time.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. There's a problem with DC power jack. The ac adapter doesn't charge the laptop. I have to hold the adapter wire to the jack in a particular position to make it work. Does anyone know how to do the repair? Replace the jack or re-pair/re-solder the existing one?
